About Mrs. Gainey 

This is my eleventh year as the music educator of North Grove Elementary! I love working with all of the amazing and talented musicians of North Grove and with the wonderful staff here, and I even attended North Grove as a student myself! I received my bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Indianapolis, and my primary instrument is the flute. In the fall, I lead NG’s Viking Voices Choir, and in the spring I lead NG’s Folk Dance Ensemble. I love all kinds of music and dance, and in my free time, I enjoy traveling, going to concerts, baking, trying new foods, and spending time with my husband, my cat, the rest of my family and my friends.
